Okay, I'm lazy. I should've posted this two months ago but hey, you can't win them all. Anyway, the new album is done. As in: really done. It's titled 'Kingnapper and the Chicken Posse', includes seven niftynooble tracks, can be listened to online for free and downloaded for less then five euro. What more is there to say? Go check it out and you'll be really cool and stuff!
In related news, a clip is now on youtube featuring bits and pieces of animations created by proper artists, which I then badly mutilated and used for my own selfish goals. It's the opening track of the new album, and probably among the more 'alternative' songs on there. So check it out or something like that.

Little quick update: the spectacular and new (or spectacularly new if you're feeling cynical) album is finished. Hurray! I'm about to leave for a trip to Estonia followed by Spain so it'll probably be two weeks or so before it's released. I should probably mention how awesome and revolutionary and brilliant and alternative it is but I'm lazy. So if you can just pretend I did I'd be much obliged. Ciao!

Happy-shamelessly-belated-New Year! For the past few months I've been thinking about how to get some of the recordings from the past two years 'out there' without having to spend a fortune on the printing of fancy packaging and it seems I found a solution. Sleutelbos is now on Bandcamp and during the course of 2011 the majority of my recordings will be made availlable there. At this moment there are four albums to download, all for download with a 'chose your own price' system in place. Other then Inside-Outsider, which'll cost a minimum of 5 whole Euros, each album is without a minimum price and can be downloaded for as little as you can spare. Each album can also be listened to online, without restrictions, as often as you want. So why not hop over to the sleutelbos.bandcamp.com webpage and see if you dig the music!

Guess it's time for an update after almost half a year of silence. Lots of stuff has been going on so I'll try to cover most of it here briefly. Firstly I've been working with Elisa from The Moon Whispers, and under the name of 'Mjuk' we are busily putting together a bunch of cool tracks. Come check us out at our Mjuk facebook page! Besides that there's a new sinfonietta done, which you can hear and download for free if you're so inclined. Finally an album of solo piano pieces have been finished, you can check one of the tracks out if you're interested, or you can download all tracks at last.fm. Phew, that about sums it up I guess. Thanks for checking it out, have a good time, be safe and don't eat firework.

Lots of news, so no time for idle chatter. ;) The friendly folks over at 3voor12 have been responsible for my first review ever. Oh me oh my! If you can read Dutch why not check it out? And more news for the Dutch reader: a few of my humble poems have been set to music, you can listen to one of them if you're bored, and if you like it let me know and I'll send a link back to the full album. Ain't got the time or money to properly release so consider it an early christmas gift. Anyway, a new composition has been finished which I wrote and performed together with cellist and composer Charles Belfor, so check it out. Finally: I've been told that the contact form doesn't quite work, which sucks. It's being worked on and in the meantime you can get in touch directly at sleutelbos@sleutelbos.com. Sorry 'bout that. That's all folks, nothing to see here...

Long time no update, sorry 'bout that dudes&dudettes. As some of you might know I've been busy moving places, setting up collabs with some amazing people and drinking wine in France. But alas, work always find my doorbell in the most unusual ways. If anyone is curious how the new album will look check out this little clip. And since there'll be 500 of them (limited edition, which'll be the only edition of the album) you can figure out what I'll be doing the next 4x500 minutes. ;) Oh, feel free to catch some notes that escaped from a little solo piano project I'm working on.
That's all for now, have a good time and play safe!

Soo, here's the New Deal: there ain't gonna be no DVD. Too many cons, too few pros. Instead, there will be a limited edition of the new album 'Re-presenting MC Beaver'. It's quite a bit different from Inside Outsider, more agressive, faster and a little bit less depressive. Can't imagine how that sounds? Why not wobble your way to the discography page and hear for yourself. Oh, as you can see the website has been redone, hopefully it's a little less chaotic then before. Enjoy the remainder of your weekend and be nice!

Finally. Inside-outsider is finished and ready for release. So yeah, if you haven't got your pre-order yet give me nudge and I'll go lick more stamps right away. And if you didnt pre-order you can repent by ordering it now. Some proper news coming up real soon so check back sometime soonish!

Soooo, a friendly German fellow came knocking on my door today with a bunch of boxes, and believe it or not, there actually is a load of Inside Outsider albums in my greedy little hands. Who'd have thought, huh? I'll begin sending them out shortly so keep a close eye on your mailbox. Which you should always do anyway, you never know what mailboxes are up to nowadays...
